The Italian Space Agency wishes to stimulate the scientific utilization of Earth Observation data acquired by the Italian mission COSMO-SkyMed (CSK) with an “Open Call for Science” dedicated to the national and international Scientific Community.

The main objectives of this Call are to promote basic and applied research, development of new technologies and algorithms, methods and the improvement of existing applications based on Earth Observation information using products in X Band (SAR) from the COSMO-SkyMed Constellation.
The Agency expects to receive innovative proposals that can benefit from the unique characteristics of the CSK constellation, considering possible synergies with other Earth Observation missions, both ESA and international.
The proposals will be evalueted accordingly with the Evaluation Criteria reported on the Call.
ASI will assign to selected proposals a quota of COSMO-SkyMed data free of charge.
Proposals submission is possible only through the web platform Archimede, by registration following the procedure described in the attached file "Open Call for Science".
