The 40th Space Symposium, one of the most prestigious international events dedicated to space exploration and technologies, organized by the Space Foundation, takes place in Colorado Springs (CO, USA) from April 7-10, 2025. The event is an unmissable opportunity to delve into emerging trends in the sector and participate in technical debates on the most innovative solutions that can redefine the capabilities of space missions and brings together representatives from space agencies, government and military institutions, the best of global entrepreneurship and experts in the field.
The Italian Space Agency (ASI) is participating with an official delegation led by President Teodoro Valente. Alongside him are the Director of Science and Innovation Mario Cosmo, the Director of Engineering and Technologies Roberto Formaro, the Director of Institutional Communication and External Relations Annamaria Monterisi, and the Deputy Director of International Affairs, Maria Chiara Noto.
Italy’s space sector is a protagonist with its own booth (No. 603) managed by the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) in collaboration with ASI and the Italian Embassy in Washington. In the exhibition area, the most advanced solutions in satellite manufacturing and integration, precision aerospace component engineering and next-generation on-orbit operations are presented by 12 Italian companies. A delegation of 22 italian companies is present.
During the event, visitors can watch live technical demonstrations on artificial intelligence-based satellite health monitoring systems, modular architectures for spacecraft design, high-performance composite materials, and cutting-edge propulsion technologies.
