During Space Meetings Veneto, the Italian Space Agency welcomed an Indian industrial delegation led by IN-SPACe as a follow-up to the Italian Space Industry Roadshow mission to India, which took place in September 2025. Promotion and dialogue activities in the space sector fall within the scope of the Italy-India Joint Strategic Action Plan 2025-2029, announced by the Prime Ministers of both countries during the 2024 G20 Summit.

ASI's International Affairs Directorate, in collaboration with the Italian Trade Agency and in coordination with INSPACe, curated the program for the entire week in Italy.

The Indian delegation was led by Dr. PK Jain, Director of the Program Management and Authorization Directorate (PMAD), and Mr. Brejish Soni, Deputy Director of the IN-SPACe Promotion Directorate. The industrial delegation involved leading space companies, including Astrogate Labs, Astrobase Space Technologies, VyomIC, Suhora, Kepler Aerospace Ltd, SkyServe (Hyspace Technologies), TakeMe2Space, Jarbits Pvt Ltd, and Dhruva Space.

The activities proposed to the Indian delegation had the primary objective of fostering mutual understanding between Indian and Italian industries through a series of events tailored to the delegation's specific needs. The program began with technical visits to companies located in the Veneto region such as Qascom, and Officina Stellare.

The activities then continued as part of the Space Meetings Veneto events, where ASI organized the panel "Opportunities for Italy-India Cooperation in the Space Industry," where Indian companies had the opportunity to introduce themselves to the conference audience and to illustrate their own offering of collaboration opportunities for the Italian companies.

ASI also participated in the high-level institutional panel "Creating New Frontiers: Space Partnerships between India and Italy."

During SVM, Indian companies had the opportunity to attend in several B2B meetings and to gain a deeper understanding of the Italian space ecosystem. Two collaboration agreements were also signed during the event: the first between Astrobase Space Technologies and Impulso Space, and the second between Kepler Aerospace GSaaS and Apogeo Space, an important signal of the interest and deepening commercial relations between the two countries.

Concluding their week in Italy, the Indian delegation took part to a technical tour in leading space companies starting from Zoppas Industries in Vittorio Veneto, D-Orbit and Leaf Space in the Como area, and finally, in Turin, Thales Alenia Space, Altec, and Argotec Space Park.

The success of the visit underscores the strengthening of relations between the two countries' space sectors and represents an important step for future institutional and industrial collaboration between Italy and India.
