The Company ELV S.p.A., established in December 2000 by Avio S.p.A. and the Italian Space Agency, following an M&A transaction completed on 1 March 2018, changed its company name to "Spacelab SpA". It is 70% owned by Avio S.p.A. and 30% by the Italian Space Agency.ù

 

Corporate purpose/mission 

In parallel to the M&A transaction, the Company scope changed. Spacelab S.p.A., in Italy and abroad, carries out activities in the aerospace industry and, in particular, in the field of space transport systems, launchers and their components and equipment. Spacelab S.P.A. is particularly involved in research and development of new technologies and test infrastructures in the space transport sector.

 

Legal status: Joint-stock company with a majority of private shareholders.

Share capital: € 4.680.000,00

ASI shareholding: 30%
