Space projects require a high multidisciplinary engineering know-how

The Engineering area has the goal of defining the feasibility and requirements of the Agency’s projects in their initial stages, with the aid of the Concurrent Engineering Facility, as well as providing technical support to the programmes with a high technological component in the manufacturing and verification stages. The Area is also in charge of arranging and managing test facilities – such as the ASIF (ASI Supported Irradiation Facilities) -  and coordinating the sector technical standardization (ECSS, European Cooperation for Space Standardisation).

PLATiNO Programme: signed the long term agreement ‣
