The NEREUS consortium is an international non-profit association (AISBL) registered under the Belgian law and based in Brussels.

The ASI has been an associate member of the NEREUS since 2016, in order to carry out the activities foreseen by the “Nereus Political charter” which fall within the institutional competences of the ASI. It aims at further promoting the scientific and technological research in the space sector, by strengthening its international connections and, as needed, creating new investment and funding opportunities through joint initiatives with the different regions, by involving territorial bodies, research centres and enterprises that operate in this industry on the territory.
