The satellite of the Italian Space Agency is monitoring the most affected areas of the 7.9 magnitude massive earthquake that last 6 february devastated part of southern Turkey, on the border with Syria, with more than 19.000 deaths. This panel shows an acquisition on the city of Adana, performed the morning of 8th february. The image on the left is related to a RGB processing color, while the rigth one is a pancromatic image in which the Sabancı central Mosque is visible. According to INGV, the earthquake generated a release of energy 1000 times greater than the Amatrice eartquake. In the next days other acquisitions are expected to be taken near the epicenter area.
