Focus on the next Italian edition

At the Italian Embassy in Paris, the institutional and industrial representatives of space, gathered in France for the IAC2022, attended the presentation and promotion of the Milan 2024 edition of the International Astronautical Congress. 

IAC Milano 2024 will be a world showcase for the Italian space sector. The IAC 2024 motto “Responsive Space and Sustainability”, aims to emphasize the importance of space as a safe place, where international cooperation opens to space exploration and its peaceful use. IAC Milano 2024 will be the fourth edition which takes place in Italy. The last one took place in Naples in 2012.

The speakers of the event have been Ambassador Teresa Castaldo and the representatives of the organizing commette, Erasmo Carrera (President of AIDAA), Giorgio Saccoccia (President of ASI), Luigi Pasquali (Head of Space for Leonardo and CEO of Telespazio) and Pascale Ehrenfreund (IAF President). A special greeting and good wishes also came from the International Space Station with a video message from the Italian astronaut of the ESA astronaut corps, Samantha Cristoforetti, next ISS commander.
