A final negotiation meeting was held today at the BSC in Malindi for the renewal of the Collective Bargaining Agreement (C.B.A), for the four-year period 2021-24.

The Director General of the Italian Space Agency, Fabrizio Tosone, accompanied by the Director of Human Resources, Francesco Dominici, and the Head of the Malindi Space Centre Organizational Unit, Munzer Jahjah, signed the new collective labor agreement with the Union of National Research and Allied Institutes Staff of Kenya (UNRISK), in the presence of Federation of Kenya Employers (F.K.E)’s Regional Manager.

“I’m very satisfied with the outcome – said Fabrizio Tosone – because this is an important step in the life of the BSC, which allows us to have Kenyan colleagues who are increasingly motivated and proud to work at the centre and optimally perform the different activities”.

The same satisfaction was expressed by UNRISK’s Secretary General, Zacharia Achacha.
