He spent 15 days, 17 hours, 40 minutes and 20 second in space

He was born in Zocca (Mo) on May 4th, 1959, he’s a test pilot for the Air Force and has a degree in Aeronautics Sciences from the Military Academy and a degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Houston. He was selected by the European Space Agency in 1992, as a Mission Specialist aboard the 1996 Columbia STS-75 shuttle.
