Forte Village, Sardinia - 4-8 May 2026
The Italian Space Agency (ASI) is participating in the 4S Symposium 2026, taking place from May 4 to 8, 2026. ASI has also granted its free patronage to the event, reaffirming its strong commitment to fostering innovation and development in the small satellite sector.
On the opening day, May 4, the Director of ASI’s Science and Innovation Directorate, Mario Cosmo, will deliver a keynote address entitled “Big science with small sats”, focusing on future perspectives in space research and the strategic role of nanosatellite technologies.
During the symposium, several nanosatellite missions currently under development with ASI support—particularly within the ALCOR program—will be presented. These initiatives play a key role in strengthening national capabilities in the space sector and in advancing scientific and technological research.
