She spent 199 days, 16 hours and 42 minutes in space
She was born in Milan on April 26th, 1977; she’s a former Air Force pilot and she has a degree in Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics Sciences. She was selected by the European Space Agency in 2009 and she was assigned to the ASI FUTURA mission. The launch of her Soyuz TMA-15M took place in November 2014.
