This composition is obtained from the processing of an acquisition of PRISMA satellite dated July 2020. An elaboration of the red, green and blue bands is shown on the left, while infrared data are shown on the left. This acquisition captured the urban area of Los Angeles, the most important city on the West Coast of the United States. The city center is globally renowned for its modern architecture, and from the elaboration one can see a large number of streets organized following a regular grid. The urban area has historically faced problems related to air pollution and water scarcity due to adverse climate conditions and the increase in population in recent decades.
