Iguazu Falls area observed by the Italian satellite

14 April 2023

The images show the Iguazu Falls area, on the border between Argentina and Brazil, starting from PRISMA data acquired in November 2022.
The waterfalls, located just south of the area reported, are the largest in the world and one of the major tourist attractions in the area. In the northern part of the image, large agricultural areas and a portion of the mighty Brazilian Parana River are seen, near the city of Foz do Iguazu.
