{"id":2994,"date":"2019-08-22T13:05:43","date_gmt":"2019-08-22T11:05:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.asi.it\/2019\/08\/cira-when-research-becomes-business\/"},"modified":"2019-08-22T13:08:22","modified_gmt":"2019-08-22T11:08:22","slug":"cira-when-research-becomes-business","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.asi.it\/en\/2019\/08\/cira-when-research-becomes-business\/","title":{"rendered":"Cira, when research becomes business"},"content":{"rendered":"A meeting was held at CIRA between a delegation of the Italian government and the president of the ASI\r\n\r\n<!--more-->\r\n\r\nThey were present at the meeting\u00a0<strong>Carlo Massagli<\/strong>, Military Councilor of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and Secretary of the Interministerial Committee for policies relating to space and aerospace,\u00a0<strong>Stefano Gualandris<\/strong>, Councilor in Economic Legal matters of the Undersecretary of State to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers Giancarlo Giorgetti and\u00a0<strong>Giorgio Saccoccia<\/strong>, President of the Italian Space Agency (ASI).\r\n\r\nDuring the meeting, which testifies to the great attention that the Government and Interministerial Committee put on CIRA, the national vocation of the Center was enhanced, in a positioning at the service of Europe in the international context, with the mission to operate transversely with all the regional districts.\r\n\r\nThe human capital, the competences and the research and experimentation infrastructures of CIRA must be fully exploited and must be of support to the Government so that it can participate in the most important international working groups aiming in the aerospace field, as well as on a competitive industrial production, even on quality scientific and technological research focused on leading sectors for the country.\r\n\r\nRecognizing the multiple potential of the Center in many sectors, both in aeronautics and space, the expressed and common goal is that CIRA will become more and more a reference point in the field of research for national aerospace companies.
