La strada che porta allo spazio passa per il nostro bel Paese.

"Oltre il sogno" exhibition

Schio (Vicenza), from 18 December 2015 to 30 March 2016

Flight and space are the main themes for the exhibition "Oltre il sogno - Dal volo allo spazio" ("Beyond the dream - from flight to space") which is held in Schio (Vicenza) from 18 December 2015 to 30 March 2016

The exhibition, whose venue is the Lanificio Conte_Shed (Via Pasubio 99), is an emotional path among display panels, scale models and relics to really get going into the flight dream. The event is also the stage for a wide range of outreach activities, such as conferences, workshops, meetings and connection to some telescopes (located in California, Australia, Tibet and Namibia).

Pleiadi Group, Schio Science and Technology District, Vicenza branch of the Italian Industrial Federation and Schio municipality created the exhibition project in cooperation with the aviation museums national network and the scientific museum from Trentino network.

The Italian Space Agency is among the aerospace institutions that support the exhibition acting as a partner. Other partners are INAF-Padua Astronomical Observatory, Thales Alenia Space, Center for Studies and Activities for Space "Giuseppe Colombo" at Padua University, Genav a.s.d. and Officina stellare.

In particular, ASI takes part in the exhibition by displaying some scale models, such as Rosetta, Philae, ExoMars, Mars Express and the International Space Station. ASI experts are expected to participate in some conferences.
