MELiSSA (Micro-Ecological Life Support System Alternative) is an European Project related to a life support system that aims to produce food, water and oxygen for manned space missions.
A specific workshop on this project will be held in Lausanne on 8th and 9th June 2016.
The event will be the occasion to discuss challenges, future research and terrestrial applications of regenerative life-support systems.
The workshop will consist of six sessions, such as waste processing, water recycling, air recycling, food production and preparation, chemical and microbial safety and system tools. It aims to foster collaboration between the scientific communities of the different MELiSSA domains.
Further information on workshop program and registration procedure available on the ESA website (please click here).
