Copernicus, Italy – Poland event

Rome, 24 November

The historic San Luca National Academy in Rome will host, on 24 November 2015, a scientific panel about Copernicus, the European program on Earth Observation. 

“Copernicus Programme. A new opportunity for the enhanced Italian-Polish cooperation” is the title of the panel, organized by the Polish Embassy in Italy in cooperation with the Italian Space Agency, the Space Research Centre at the Polish Science Academy (CBK-PAN) and the San Luca National Academy

A welcome session will open the event, that will start at 3.30 p.m.  ASI president Roberto Battiston is expected to take part in this session, along with the Polish ambassador Tomasz Orlowski, the Polish Space Agency (POLSA) president Marek Banaszkiewicz and Carlo Maria Medaglia, on behalf of the Italian Ministry of Environment

Representatives from ASI, Polish Science Academy, ESA, Rome University “La Sapienza” and ISPRA will be involved in this scientific debate.
