European Researchers’ Night

Since 2005, the European Researchers' Night takes place every year all over Europe the last Friday of September. In 2015 the Night, promoted by the  European Commission, will be held on Friday 25 September

Night events, such as shows, laboratories, exhibitions, guided visits and conferences, are dedicated to popular science and fun learning. They are an opportunity to meet researchers and to find out what they really do for society. 

In Italy the European Researchers’ Night will involve 11 cities: Roma, Frascati, Trieste, Bologna, Milano, Ferrara, Catania, Bari, Cagliari, Pavia e Pisa. “Sustainable development” will be the main Night theme. 

The Italian Space Agency will also take part in the Night and will organize scientific activities for a large audience, such as students, families and children. The event will be held on 25 September 2015 at ASI headquarters, from 4 p.m. to 12 a.m.  

Activities are organized in cooperation with Tuscolana Astronomy Association (ATA), British Interplanetary Society – Italian branch (BIS-Italia), “Giuseppe Colombo” Space Activities and Studies Center (CISAS) – University of Padua, “La Ragnatela” Association and MusicArTerapia University. Enrico Benaglia, a painter interested in space themes, will also take part in event.
