“BergamoScienza” 2012

The ASI is present at the tenth edition of the festival that will be held from 5th to 21st October 2012


Appointment in Bergamo for the new edition of the "BergamoScienza", the popularizing science festival that has animated the city since 2003 with a series of events aimed at the general public. The main objective of "BergamoScienza" is to take science "to the streets" involving youngsters and schools in particular. Promoting this initiative is Associazione BergamoScienza, which counts among its members, in addition to the founder group, the main local institutions and from this year also has the involvement of the President of the Republic.



For 16 days, from 5th to 21st October 2012, you can participate in conferences, interactive workshops, performances, scientific debates and concerts with the participation of internationally renowned researchers and scientists. Space will have a particular significance in the event with a dedicated day, "Space Day", organized in collaboration with the Italian Space Agency (ASI), ESA and NASA. The event will be held on October 6 with conferences, workshops and screenings of documentaries. Representing the ASI in this important popularizing event will be the scientific coordinator Enrico Flamini.
