Ka Conference. The next appointment in Canada from 24 to 27 September

Deadline for abstract presentation: 31 March

Two of the most important technical conferences on satellite systems will take place jointly: the 30th AIAA International Communications Satellite Systems Conference (ICSSC) and the 18th edition of the Ka and Broadband Communications, Navigation and Earth Observation Conference. They will take place in Ottawa, Canada, from 24 to 27 September 2012.



The theme of the joint conference is "Satellites in the service of humanity", to underline the key importance that satellite observation systems have in everyday life. Satellites really provide information that can be used in civil and military fields: public safety, research and rescue operations, naval monitoring, environmental surveying and monitoring and disaster assistance.



Meeting’s thematic areas are:

•    Broadband Telecom Systems and Services, Navigation Systems and Services;


•    Propagation and mitigation techniques;


•    Earth observation systems, applications and sensors;


•    Integration and interoperability of systems;


•    Economic and marketing aspects & Regulatory issues.



Abstracts have to arrive by 31 March, notice of acceptance is to arrive by 30 April, and final papers by 31 July 2012.
