ASI and ESA have promoted the "9th ILEWG International Conference on Exploration and Utilization of the Moon" (ICEUM9-ILC2007), taking place since the 22 to the 26 of October, 2007 in Sorrento, Hilton Palace.

The main topic of the conference was the international cooperation and a global strategy for the Moon esploration.
