The 2012 IAC in Naples

The 63rd edition of the congress runs from 1 to 5 October 2012

For the fourth time Italy will host the International Astronautical Congress (IAC), after the editions in Rome (1956 and 1981) and Turin (1997). From 1 to 5 October 2012 Naples will be the attractive background of one of the most prestigious events for the international aerospace community.

Naples was selected after a long procedure, lasting almost two years, which saw competition from cities of the importance of Paris, Lisbon, Vienna and Brussels. The 2012 IAC is organised by the Italian Space Agency in synergy with the International Astronautical Federation (IAF), CIRA, the Naples Polo High Tech, the Ministry of Education, Universities and Research and the main local bodies (the Naples City Council, the Campania Regional Council, the Province of Naples and the Naples Chamber of Commerce).

Call for papers is open.
