ASI has always been a point of reference in the support and scientific education of young graduates and Italian researchers. The Agency's Education sector develops specific national and international programmes in partnership with universities, the Conferenza Nazionale dei Rettori (CRUI-the National Conference of University Presidents) and other space agencies that operate in Europe. ASI's activities in this sector concern:

- the direct support to young researchers through funding of internal research fellowships within the Agency.
- the collaboration with the CRUI for carrying out training internships for new graduates and senior-year students at their own administration sites;
- the making of a brief guide to the science departments in the aerospace sector.
