Star4Physics is a new videogame on the exploration of space by the Italian Space Agency, based on an innovative educational idea which aims at teaching and entertaining at the same time (edutainment).
The videogame's objective is to develop experiential-type learning that leads from "doing" to "knowing": by playing the game, you can understand several major laws of physics that determine space activities.
The videogame's ability to teach is closely connected to its ability to entertain: the player can launch himself into space, become an Infinity Space Academy cadet, live on a futuristic Martian base and take part in incredible training that will allow him to know, grow and have fun.
It will be fun to put oneself to the test with the Star4Physics videogame also thanks to special simulations and to fascinating play missions. It will be easier to know the solar system through the interactive planetarium, under the planets' and their moons' movements as well as to know the characteristics of the Earth's atmosphere. Seven training modules, dozens of experiments and many completely three-dimensional missions are waiting to test those who are fans of space and videogames.
